Why Responsive Design Is So Important

You look around everywhere that you go during the day and evening hours and you are surrounded by people who are fully involved with their smartphones. They sit together at tables and surf for news stories, play games and do research for purchases.

When you plan your marketing strategy for your business, mobile presence has just reached the tipping point in the US. With smartphones in the hands of more than half of the population, we have to think of the website as the central piece in any branding or marketing efforts for any business.

The website has to be mobile friendly, and the best way to handle that is through responsive design.

Responsive web design (RWD) is a web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors).
